Community Involvement

As part of our corporate culture, HS/BSI is actively involved in supporting various charitable organizations within the community.

Nashville Area Habitat for Humanity (NAHFH) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide families in need with decent, affordable housing in the Nashville metropolitan area. NAHFH is part of Habitat for Humanity International and is one of the charitable organizations that HS/BSI supports. HS/BSI’s managing partner, Paul Lemke, is on the Board of Directors for NAHFH. Paul and his wife, Jeanne, are proud to support NAHFH in a variety of ways, including volunteer work, donations and sponsorships.

Educational Involvement

As recognized leaders in their field, HS/BSI’s partners are occasionally invited by leading universities to participate as instructors in programs aimed at enhancing the real world knowledge of business executives.  

Paul Lemke, HS/BSI’s managing partner and alumnus of Vanderbilt University, participates as an instructor in the university’s Owen Graduate School of Management Executive Development Institute (EDI) programs. Mr. Lemke will be instructing in the school’s upcoming seminar, Creating A Fast Growing Business. As a leader on international consulting assignments ranging from management turnarounds to customer-driven performance improvements, Mr. Lemke brings to the course a depth of firsthand knowledge of operational strategies that drive growth.

The two-day Creating A Fast Growing Business program is conducted regularly at Vanderbilt’s Owen Graduate School of Management in Nashville. Participants will learn proven strategies and best practices for achieving significant, profitable business growth.

Music City Future 50

HS/BSI has been named a Music City Future 50 company by the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce for both 2006 and 2007. This award recognizes HS/BSI as one of the 50 fastest growing privately owned companies in the greater Nashville area.

The Music City Future 50 is an annual program of the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce that recognizes the top 50 privately held high-growth companies in Middle Tennessee with more than ten employees, annual revenue exceeding $500,000 and projecting at least a ten percent growth in sales and employment over the next three years.
